Overview
These year-in-review infographics visualize key accomplishments, data, and challenges from across Yellowstone National Park’s operational divisions. Together, they provided park leadership with a clear, visual snapshot of progress and priorities.

This project began with a single request to visualize one division’s accomplishments for the year at Yellowstone National Park. The goal was to create a clear, at-a-glance summary that could help the Senior Leadership Team understand key outcomes and guide future budget decisions. The first infographic was so appreciated by the team that it quickly became a model for other divisions requesting their own versions.
Designing these infographics required distilling dense reports, metrics, and narratives into concise visual summaries that were both meaningful and restrained. Each one needed to tell a division’s story while maintaining consistency in tone, hierarchy, and structure across the series. The greatest challenge was knowing what not to include and paring all of the metrics down to the essential information that would truly support decision-making (as demonstrated by my messy brainstorm sketching in the left image).
Visually, I focused on a clean, modern layout that balanced structure with breathing room. High-contrast colors highlight key figures and trends, while consistent typography and iconography tie the series together. The result is a cohesive suite of infographics that makes complex information instantly accessible—helping leadership quickly assess successes, challenges, and resource needs across Yellowstone’s diverse operations.
